Park Information

Splash 'n' Putt Resort is a privately owned, family operated company. Splash n' Putt Resort is Newfoundland's largest family oriented Attractions Park located at the west entrance of Terra Nova National Park. The park first opened its doors in June, 1984. It began as a water slide and miniature golf course. The resort has grown to include pools, go-carts, bumper cars and boats. Adjacent to the park is a Mary Brown's Famous Chicken and Taters outlet, a Dairy Bar featuring Yogen Fruz no-fat products and a gift shop featuring toys, souvenirs, and local crafts. Each summer we welcome over 12,000 visitors looking for a few days of summer fun and hire approximately 40 students every summer employing in total 50 personnel.

Splash 'n' Putt Resort is a member of Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism Association.

Frequently Asked Questions

What methods of payment Are accepted?
Traveler's checks, Cash, Debit Cards, MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express®, Diners Club Card and Discover® Card are are all accepted for admission to the Park. Personal Cheques are not accepted.

Are certified Lifeguards working on site?
All water attractions are staffed with certified lifeguards.

What about pets?
Pets are not permitted in the Park.

Are there ATM machines inside the Park?
An ATM is located in Glovertown at the Scotiabank branch. Cash back is available at the Park Interac machine.

Age restrictions?
Guests of all ages are welcomed at Splash "n" Putt Resort. To participate in certain activities, however, age and or height restrictions apply.

Disabled guests?
Splash "n" Putt Resort can accommodate guests with disabilities who are able to maneuver to the wading locations and during rides, with limited assistance, or with their own personal assistant.

Cameras and video recorders allowed?
Cameras and video recorders are allowed at Splash "n" Putt Resort. Please keep in mind, however, that most of the activities at Splash "n" Putt Resort involve water, so please use caution, as damage to your equipment can occur.

Reservations required?
No, reservations are not required, however, for large groups we do recommend notification so that we can better serve your needs.

Private functions?
Splash "n" Putt Resort is available for private functions and parties during the off-season. For more information, please contact us at (709) 533-2541.

Park and Resort Services

Splash "n" Putt Resort has ample free parking space for over 200 cars. In addition, picnic areas are located within and outside of the park for guest use. Near the entrance we also have canteen services.

Also, there are a variety hotels, motels, cabins, cottages, and campgrounds available near the park. For more information on these services go to Guest Services and visit Road to the Beaches.

Dairy Bar
The Dairy Bar features a variety of dairy products including Yogen Fruz (low) no-fat products, milkshakes, yogurts, sundaes, and soft serve.

Gift Shop
The gift shop offers a wide selection of merchandise including Splash "n" Putt Resort and local Newfoundland souvenirs and crafts, children toys, as well as film, sunscreen, and other necessities.

Restaurant
Splash "n" Putt Resort is host to one of Mary Brown's Famous Chicken and Taters outlets. While spending the day at the Park, take a meal break and snack or feast on some of our great tasting chicken from a wide menu selection. Try the traditional meals, or be adventurous and go with something different offered during limited times throughout the franchise outlets. Open year round.

Camping
Located on site there is a designated area for guests who wish to overnight by Recreational Vehicle or tent camping. It is not serviced and a charge of $5.00 per night is applicable. However, campers can stay for free when using Splash "n" Putt Park. Overnight Vehicle parking on the Splash "n" Putt visitor parking lot is not permitted.
